Dante DelRosario

Surfing Competition Coordinator

My name is Dante DelRosario. I was born on the island of O'ahu. My dad and older brother were Waikiki Beach Boys. My dad taught surf lessons and canoe paddling with Duke Kahanamoku, Rabbit Kekai, Blue Makua, and the Kahanamoku Brothers on O'ahu. I have been surfing for over 40 years and in that time, I have surfed most of the Hawaiian Island chain, including the North Shore and also the entire coast of California. I have organized and directed surf events for the past 20 years including the following organizations and events: Hawaii Surfing Amateur Association, Volcom Pufferfish Series, and the Big Hawaii Surf Fellowship. I have been a member of Hui o Hee Nalu surfing club on the North Shore since 1982. I continue to coach multiple up and coming groms on the Big Island, where I currently live as a "shoreline technician".
