Tropical Triathalon

The Tropical Triathlon presents itself as a uniquely beautiful race for a total of 36 athletes. 2 seperate groups will compete. an open group for any age or sex (perhaps the more experienced group) and a Masters group for over 45.

There will be a total of 5 winners. 1 Woman and 1 Man from each group, and an over all winner with the best time will take home the Gold!

The swim leg is first starting with a 1/2 mile swim at the Prestine Pahoa Village Olympic size pool. Athletes bikes will be ready to go for their next 19 mile bike ride back to Kalani riding along the picturesque coastal road ("red road") through Kalapana.After bikes are dropped at Kalani, athletes will run 81/2 miles continuing down Red Road to MacKenzie State Park and back.

Kieba's Basic Wt. training exercises for a 3x a week work out strengthen, lengthen and endure 3 sets of each starting light, increasing wt. Bar bell squats med.-wide feet Leg press feet close Leg Extension Leg Curl Lat Pull down wide to chest Seated Row Bent over bar row Lateral raises Dumbbell shoulder press Cumbbell Curl Bench press for chest or push upsseated 1 dumbbell extension or cable tricep push down crunches and leg raisescalf raisesspend 10-15 min. doing light stretching as well.
