Raw Vegan Prep Off 2008
The First Annual "Blind Basket" Raw Vegan Prep Off focalized by Laura Fox and Chef Frank Giglio was a Super Hit! Congratulations to our Champs!
What happens when you give a group of raw vegan chefs a basket of the same random, secret ingredients, limited tools they need to share amongst themselves, and a time sequence in which to make a delectable raw vegan dish? Well... we found out at the 2008 year's Raw Vegan Prep Off!
Chefs of every stage of development participated. 10 Teams of 1 to 2 chefs entered the competition, which was held Friday, November 21 on the grounds at Kalani.
What Teams Got
A good knife, a cutting board, a bowl, a serving dish and a mystery basket filled with ingredients
What Teams Shared
Blenders, Food Processors, Spiralizers, and other fancier items will be shared amongst them, because you see, one category chefs will be judged on is "coopetition" ~ cooperation while competing!
